Description
As a Payroll Manager will be responsible for the oversight and successful delivery with the highest levels of quality and timeliness of payroll operations ensuring full compliance of internal and external policies and regulations across different countries in APAC.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage payroll team to ensure activities are well-managed and payroll processes completed on time and within quality objectives
- Manage and oversee the execution of day-to-day payroll inputs collection, handoffs, approvals, and issue management.
- Manage resolution of payroll related escalated inquiries and complains.
- Serve as liaison to Employees, Managers, HRBPs, COEs and vendors when Payroll cases require escalation.
- Recommend improvements in systems, processes and tools based on operations results.
- Share relevant payroll information, access and knowledge with other HR teams to provide the best employee and manager experience and support through the ideal service and support channel.
- Collaborate with audit teams for internal and external audits.
Qualification & Requirements
What You Will Bring
- At least 7 years of relevant multi-jurisdiction processing experience in Payroll for Shared Services and 3 years in managerial capacity
- Experience using a major vendor (e.g: Workday, ServiceNow, Access Software, EasyPay & CentralHR and Microsoft Excel).
- Multiple country payroll experience is required i.e. Singapore, China, Malaysia, Thailand etc.
- Good communication skills, written and spoken in English and Malay
- Able to travel as needed by the business an d work non-standard hours on occasion
