Description
The main responsibility is crafting, supervising and implementing the organization’s compensation and benefits programs. The role will also assess salary structures, balance staffing needs with cost controls, and ensure that policies, procedures and programs are in alignment with the organization’s overall strategic objectives and HR strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluates competitor compensation and benefits packages, creating policies and procedures, watching over the payroll interface maintain compliance and data integrity, and managing third-party HR vendor resources
- Works closely with management, providing feedback on related HR functions and processes.
- Responsible for accurate data collection and analysis, as well as maintaining accurate employee records.
- Manages the team of reward & benefit professionals to implement and coordinate benefits program and practices
- Responsible for evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of changes and improvements in benefits program
- Responsible for reviewing the organization’s benefits plans, policies, and procedures to ensure legal compliance with local regulations
- Responsible for vendor management through reviewing reports, conducting performance meetings, and maintaining compliance with plan provisions
- Craft and develop rewards and compensation & benefit plans
- Coordinate benefit plan documents and summary plan description
- Participates in the budget allocation of benefits plans
- Serves as a subject matter expert and a point of contact to the CEO, Head of Human Resources and the management team
- Develops compensation related communication materials including policies, procedures, guidelines, and presentations
- Interprets local, state, and federal laws regulating compensation practices and modifies company policy and practice to maintain compliance with government regulations
- Leads the procurement and administration of the company’s compensation management system
- Assesses compensation trends and reviews market data to benchmark compensation structures
- Leads all aspects of the analysis of salary survey data
- Provides consultation, mentorship, and support to HR partners and managers on compensation-related issues, such as market analysis, databases, and developing written/oral presentations
- Provides support for merger- and acquisition-related compensation program integrations and transitions
- Leads in continuous improvement in compensation processes
