Senior Finance Manager / Director

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Company Accounting Management

  • Coordinate the accounting operations of multiple portfolio companies to ensure accuracy and compliance of financial data.
  • Consolidate financial reports from portfolio companies to provide a comprehensive view for management.
  • Develop and implement cross-company financial management policies and processes.

Competitor Benchmarking Analysis

  • Analyze the financial performance, business models, and market strategies of industry competitors to extract actionable insights.
  • Regularly update industry benchmark data to assist in optimizing the financial and operational strategies of portfolio companies.
  • Conduct comparative financial analyses for specific investment opportunities to support management decision-making.

Market Research and Trend Analysis

  • Monitor industry dynamics, economic conditions, and market trends to assess potential impacts on portfolio companies.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of regional markets or industries to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
  • Assist management in evaluating the impact of emerging markets and technologies on the group and portfolio companies.

Financial Analysis and Strategic Support

  • Combine financial and market data to deliver solutions for enhancing the profitability of portfolio companies.
  • Build and optimize financial models to support portfolio management, resource allocation, and exit decisions.
  • Provide financial assessments for cross-departmental projects, including ROI analysis and M&A evaluations.

Budgeting and Planning

  • Organize the annual budget preparation for multiple portfolio companies, ensuring alignment with the group’s strategic objectives.
  • Establish rolling forecasting mechanisms to dynamically adjust budgets in response to market changes.

Audit and Compliance

  • Oversee internal and external audits for portfolio companies, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Assist in establishing and improving financial internal control systems to mitigate financial risks.

System and Process Optimization

  • Drive financial digital transformation projects to enhance efficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Optimize the operation model of the cross-company financial shared services center to improve service quality.

Qualification & Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field from a reputable university.
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis.
  • Strong background in auditing, advisory, or financial consulting, preferably from a Big 4 firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG).
  • Experience in multinational corporations or large enterprises is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including financial due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and post-merger integration.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

  • Expertise in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and financial modeling tools.
  • Deep understanding of corporate finance, investment analysis, and risk management.

Language & Communication:

  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Basic proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is required.
