Financial Services Risk Management, Structured Finance – Transactions, Senior Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively manage and motivate client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment
• Lead and manage all aspects of large scale client engagement engagements including driving high quality work products, monitoring progress and managing risk
• Develop, maintain and build long-term client relationships and networks
• Generate new business opportunities, staying abreast of current industry and technology trends
• Develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs
• Take an active role in leading operational functions within the structured finance team

To qualify for the role you must have

• A bachelor’s degree and approximately 8 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 7 years of related work experience. Degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering or a related discipline; MBA or MS preferred
• Excellent prioritization skills and a commitment to meeting client deadlines
• Strong communication skills for report writing, client presentations and client interactions
• Proficient skills with MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Teaming, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary to meet client deadlines; valid driver’s license and passport to meet travel requirements

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience leading consulting projects within structured finance within a large financial institution or consulting firm.

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $132,800 to $303,300. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $159,300 to $344,800.  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
