This includes oversight of invoice workflows, payment preparations, financial reconciliations, and accrual entries. You’ll serve as a critical connector between the finance center, in-country finance units, procurement, and treasury, ensuring consistent and standardized practices across the business.
In addition to operational oversight, you’ll champion service performance targets (KPIs) and lead ongoing efforts to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Cross-team collaboration and a solid grasp of finance within the broader business framework will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and empowering a team of AP professionals, ensuring optimal workload distribution and skill development.
- Supporting local finance units as a business partner, going beyond routine shared service operations.
- Managing invoice-to-payment cycles, month-end reporting, and financial reconciliations.
- Spearheading change initiatives and system improvements to elevate AP performance.
- Monitoring service delivery against KPIs, with continuous efforts to refine performance.
- Engaging across departments to streamline issue resolution and workflow efficiency.
Qualification & Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Business, with certification (CPA/MIA) preferred.
- At least a decade of experience in finance operations or shared services, with deep exposure to Procure-to-Pay.
- A proven track record in leading large teams within a high-volume or multinational setting.
- Familiarity with finance systems such as SAP HANA, Coupa, Basware, or Ariba, plus tools like Power BI and SNOW.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and fluency in English.
- Exposure to global projects, process migration, and operational enhancements.
- Solid understanding of international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
