Are you a financial professional with strong analytical skills and a strategic vision? Do you have a passion for process optimization and improving financial services? For Mourik Industry we are looking for a Head of Shared Service Center (SSC).

Key Responsibilities

You develop and implement efficient and future-proof procedures and guidelines within the SSC and continuously work on the optimization of financial and administrative work processes. In doing so, you actively contribute to strategic organizational goals and ensure efficient and transparent service provision. In addition, you advise the Manager Finance & Control on internal and external developments and translate these into concrete policy proposals.

You coordinate and monitor the quality, timeliness and continuity of all SSC processes and are responsible for the correct execution of the Order to Cash (O2C) and Purchase to Pay (P2P) process. You do this in close cooperation with other departments such as Purchasing, IT and Finance & Control. Within the team you stimulate cooperation and knowledge sharing and contribute to the professional development of employees.

As a manager, you ensure effective and service-oriented management of the SSC team. You are responsible for the daily operations and take the lead in the implementation of larger improvement initiatives, with a focus on digitalization, sustainability and compliance. In this role, you are not only a strategic and driving force, but also a cooperating foreman who knows the financial and administrative processes in detail and is actively involved in the implementation where necessary.

Qualification & Requirements

  • A completed higher professional education in Business Economics, Finance & Control, Business Administration or a similar field.
  • 5 to 7 years of work experience in an SSC environment within a complex organization.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing, coordinating and optimizing financial and administrative processes at a tactical level.
  • Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate insights into concrete improvements.
  • Experience with change management and digitalization within financial and administrative processes.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented and service-oriented attitude.
