The Executive Director for Human Resources Shared Services is a strategic leader with strong analytical, human resource and communication skills capable of driving change in human capital business process improvement and developing exceptional talent.

Executive Director for Human Resources Shared Services

Key Responsibilities

  • The position is charged with creating a world-class HR shared service organization that finds, develops and retains great talent for all positions in the organization and improves business processes in order to deliver efficient service excellence.
  • The position develops and implements strategic goals and policy in recruitment, selection, deployment, performance management, and professional development for nearly 2,000 employees across the divisions of Finance and Operations (F&O) and Campus Safety and Risk Management, with a strong focus on efficiency, effectiveness, and service excellence.
  • The position oversees teams that perform core HR functions, including employee and management relations, classification and compensation, recruitment, and payroll/leave/benefits for these departments.

Qualification & Requirements

The Executive Director must be an exceptional strategist, adept communicator, expert collaborator, human capital specialist, and superior project manager with the ability to build trust, inspire confidence, manage change, ensure accountability, drive efficiency, change culture, develop talent, and work in partnership with stakeholders throughout campus and within the local community.
