Description

We’re seeking a strategic and results-driven Revenue professional to join our high-performing team, based at The Langham, Melbourne. This pivotal position supports Langham Hospitality Group’s hotels in the Pacific region—currently The Langham, Melbourne; The Langham, Sydney; and Cordis Auckland.

Reporting to the Regional Director – Revenue Management, Asia Pacific (excluding Greater China), and working closely with the VP – Revenue Strategy & Distribution, you’ll drive a performance-focused culture through clear metrics, accountability, and measurable outcomes. Your mission: maximize revenue and market share through optimized pricing and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with hotel teams to manage daily group and transient room availability.
  • Pricing Strategy: Develop and manage retail, group, and corporate pricing; identify and execute promotional opportunities.
  • Event Space Revenue Management: Analyze and implement pricing strategies for catering and function space.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Produce detailed transient and group forecasts; lead the annual budgeting process.
  • Market & Business Insight: Conduct weekly remote R.O.M.E. meetings, deliver monthly performance reviews, and ensure responsiveness to market dynamics.
  • Analysis & Reporting: Deliver market research, performance analysis, and detailed reporting to both property and regional stakeholders.
  • System Optimization: Maintain system efficiency, load rates/promotions, and ensure inter-system compatibility.
  • Training & Development: Train internal stakeholders and property teams, including Analysts, Assistant Managers, and Revenue Managers.
  • Performance Targets: Drive performance against revenue, budget, and team goals.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 10+ years in revenue management with global brand experience.
  • Proven success in implementing and managing revenue and booking systems.
  • Experience in strategic leadership and senior stakeholder engagement, including ownership meetings.
  • Expertise in multi-revenue business models and diverse market environments.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
  • High attention to detail; proactive, self-driven, and organized.
