Description
As the HR Shared Services Process & Operations Leader, you will champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency. You will lead the development and execution of streamlined HR Shared Services operations, owning end-to-end process design and optimization through Lean methodologies. Partnering with regional HR teams and stakeholders, you will ensure consistent, compliant, and high-quality service delivery. This role encompasses the oversight of day-to-day operations, the resolution of escalated issues, and the strategic management of performance via defined metrics and SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
Shared Services Process Leader
- Partner with HR Regional Leaders to assess and document existing processes, streamlining them where possible, and identifying those ideal for a shared services model
- Develop and implement process to conduct regular assessments of current HR processes to identify areas for strategic improvement
- Coordinate with regional HR teams to ensure consistent application of HR processes
- Leverage Lean principles to drive continuous process improvements for existing and new shared services processes
- Partner with HR Leaders & HR Technology team to understand their needs and deliver tailored HR solutions that support business objectives.
- Identify key metrics and analytics to monitor process performance
HR Services Operations Leader
- Lead the HR Shared Services operations across a tiered support model, ensuring high-quality HR support and services are delivered.
- Lead day-to-day operations of HR Shared Services team, ensuring adherence to SOPs in compliance with HR’s policies and programs
- In partnership with HR, identify and lead process transitions to Americas and China Shared Services team
- Foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
- Provide guidance and support for complex HR issues and escalations within the shared services scope.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of all data managed and maintained
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Define and implement Shared Services metrics to monitor SLA’s and team deliverables
Qualification & Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a strong focus on business and process analysis.
- Proven experience applying Six Sigma/Lean analytical techniques to drive process improvement.
- Solid understanding of core global HR processes and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence change effectively, even without direct authority.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
