Senior Manager, Infrastructure Engineering

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines, ensuring fast, reliable, and scalable delivery of applications.
• Infrastructure Architecture: Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of cloud-based and on-prem infrastructure solutions, leveraging best practices for scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Team Leadership: Lead the infrastructure team in designing and implementing scalable and robust technology solutions aligned with the company’s objectives.
• Automation and Optimization: Champion the automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab CI.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Development, QA, Security, and Product teams to align infrastructure needs with business goals and deliver timely, high-quality releases.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Lead troubleshooting efforts for pipeline or infrastructure issues.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that infrastructure meets all security, regulatory, and compliance requirements, collaborating with security teams to implement best practices for infrastructure security.
• Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud and infrastructure spending, provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities and ensure that resources are allocated efficiently.
• Documentation and Best Practices: Establish and maintain clear documentation for infrastructure architecture, CI/CD processes, and automation procedures. Advocate for best practices and continuously refine processes for better performance and efficiency.

Qualification & Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) in managing and leading infrastructure teams, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization technologies.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience with cloud migration and management.
• Proficiency in implementing and maintaining security protocols and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, ITIL) are a plus.
