Description

NTT DATA Inc. is seeking an inspiring and visionary People & Culture Delivery Hub Leader to establish and lead a newly formed Shared Services hub for HR operations based in India. This role will support global HR delivery across administration, compliance, employee services, and other critical processes while driving innovation through design thinking, automation and AI-enabled solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in setting up frameworks, processes, and delivery teams, with a proven ability to transform HR operations into a strategic differentiator.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a matrixed, virtual leadership environment, collaborating with HR Directors globally and coordinating with other People & Culture Delivery Hubs in nearshore locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for building best-in-class shared services that align with cutting-edge technology, strong compliance standards, and the evolving needs of a global workforce

People & Culture Delivery Hub Leader

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Establish and Lead the Delivery Hub: Ensure alignment with NTT DATA’s global HR strategy and collaborate with HR Directors globally.
  • Develop and Implement Frameworks: Focus on efficient HR operations using automation and AI-enabled employee services.
  • Global Collaboration: Align delivery hub operations with business objectives through close collaboration with local and international HR Directors.

Operational Excellence

  • Process Setup and Governance: Establish processes and governance structures for shared services delivery, ensuring compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.
  • Delivery Engine for all COEs supporting Employee Life cycle (Work Force Planning , Candidate Management and Experience, BGC, Onboarding and Employee Administration
  • All Employee Administration across employee Life cycle, including benefits, payroll, query management
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance service quality, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Technology Adoption: Lead the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, including AI-driven tools for employee engagement and process automation.
  • Project Management: Lead multiple strategic projects with design thinking and governance and compliance

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Build and Lead High-Performing Teams: Foster collaboration across global hubs within a matrixed environment.
  • Inspire and Mentor Teams: Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.

Qualification & Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in HR operations or shared services leadership roles within multinational organizations.
  • Track Record: Proven success in setting up frameworks, processes, and delivery teams for large-scale shared services operations.
  • Automation Experience: Experience delivering automation and AI-enabled solutions in HR functions.

Skills

  • Matrixed Leadership: Exceptional ability to work in a matrixed environment with virtual leadership across multiple geographies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for HR operations in global markets.
  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Expertise in strategic workforce planning using the “Build, Borrow, Buy, Bridge & Bot” model.
  • Omni-Channel Sourcing: Deep understanding of omni-channel sourcing strategies to engage diverse talent pools effectively.

Leadership Attributes

  • Visionary Leadership: Capable of inspiring teams to achieve operational excellence while embracing innovation.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior leaders globally and collaborate across cultures effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Shared Services Experience: Experience working in shared services hubs supporting global delivery (e.g., India-based hubs for multinational corporations).
  • HR Technology Familiarity: Familiarity with cutting-edge HR technologies such as AI-powered chatbots or predictive analytics tools for workforce planning. Experience of Service Now and SAP required
  • Lean Six Sigma: Blackbelt from a reputable organization
  • Design Thinking: Thorough understanding of Design Thinking
