Description

The Relationship Lead will form part of the Matrix Transition Office, working with and on behalf of a number of departments to ensure the change and transition on the implemented technology solution and transformed Shared Services. The role will act as a critical bridge from department teams into the programme providing the link between departmental transition and change activities and the programme status and plan. The role reporting to the Head of the Transition Office will provide technical expertise to continually develop and refine readiness checklists and simultaneously providing assurance on their progress until completion. By acting as the intermediary, you will drive collaboration and alignment between programme, System integrator and Departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and continually refine the Programme business readiness criteria and checklist
  • Managing and coordinating the business readiness activities in departments to ensure relevant changes are embedded and sustained in the relevant departments.
  • Form and maintain relationships with departmental teams, providing technical support and guidance as appropriate.
  • Management of post go-live user adoption plan & tracker.
  • Work in conjunction with Change Delivery colleagues and Business Readiness Leads to identify, map and track transition and change activities within departments.
  • In identifying and mapping transition and change activities, ensure lessons learned and knowledge transfer to other departments and future on-boarders.
  • Providing briefing
  • Provide assurance to the Head of Transition Office on departmental readiness, reporting to the board alongside the Department representative on readiness. In executing this, escalate risks, issues and dependencies through to Programme Operations for central recording.
  • Support communication and engagement with programme stakeholders, developing and maintaining key relationships and working in partnership to resolve problems

Qualification & Requirements

Required:

  • You will have a track record of being a Project Management / Change Management or Relationship Lead, working in a project/programme-based role.

You will have:

  • Experience of delivering large scale digital and/or service transformations.
  • Knowledgeable, with an in-depth understanding of the end-to-end change management lifecycle.
  • Experience in engaging with and communicating to senior leaders in stakeholder organisations.
  • Experience in on-boarding / readiness
  • Collaborative, with a proven ability to build effective relationships and influence at all levels.
