Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead and inspire our Accounting Shared Services team in the Record-to-Report (R2R) function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Accounting Shared Services team, ensuring accurate and timely financial close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and fixed asset accounting.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to drive performance improvements.
  • Champion automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Support external audit efforts and maintain familiarity with SAP elements (e.g., profit center and cost center hierarchies).
  • Inspire and motivate the team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Promote a culture of recognition, engagement, and strong management practices.
  • Partner with business leaders to ensure SSC activities deliver value and address feedback effectively.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (required).
  • CPA certification (required).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and accounting functions.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP or equivalent ERP in a shared services environment.
  • Proven track record of leading accounting teams and delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting.
  • Expertise in GAAP compliance and internal controls.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strategic mindset and ability to manage competing priorities.
