Description

The Circle Lead for Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS) and Global Quality (GQ) will be responsible for the design and execution of GMS/GQ knowledge transfer into the Circle (=GMS/GQ dedicated resources). The Circle Lead will lead the ramp-up of the team, build a strong GMS/GQ community and integrate people into the global delivery teams across the different ICC. This role will be based in Bangaluru, India and will report to the Head of the ICC India and be a member of the GMS/GQ Digital, Data & Technology (DD&T) Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities

The key objectives for this role are:

  • Talent Integration & Engagement: Facilitate onboarding, engagement, and role alignment within Digital Manufacturing, Supply, and Quality (GMS/GQ) teams in DD&T and ICCs.
  • Act as a coordinator between global teams and Chapter Leads to ensure smooth communication and alignment
  • Capability Building & Development: Partner with Chapter Leads to drive continuous capability upskilling and domain expertise in digital manufacturing, supply, and quality. Support long-term capability strategies by aligning talent growth with business needs.Operational & Delivery Excellence: Oversee the performance of Product-Oriented Delivery (POD) teams, identifying inefficiencies and working to resolve key challenges. Act as a mentor and primary point of contact for GMS/GQ Circle talents, ensuring their integration into business priorities.Local Leadership & Culture Building: Foster a sense of belonging within GMS/GQ by supporting career growth and driving employee retention efforts in collaboration with Chapter Leads. Promote a high-performance culture by reinforcing business objectives and team alignment.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Governance: Serve as the key liaison between the Internal Capabilities Center (ICC) and global leadership, ensuring alignment, advocacy, and operational synergy. Work closely with co-Circle Leads in Mexico and Slovakia to drive consistency and collaboration in GMS/GQ initiatives.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Drives the growth and strategic expansion of GMS/GQ by fostering professional development opportunities.
  • Acts as a change agent, advocating for integration, cultural alignment, and transparent communication with executive stakeholders.
  • Supports the execution of Innovation Capability Solutions & Services (ICSS) Strategy by influencing, communicating, and demonstrating the value of transformation to business stakeholders.
  • In partnership with Procurement, manage vendor relationships effectively, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Develop and execute a GMS/GQ Talent Strategy in partnership with WOTF, HR, and Talent Acquisition, ensuring strong branding, engagement, and the ability to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
  • Monitor and optimize hiring, retention, and performance KPIs, proactively addressing gaps to meet business case expectations in collaboration with the HR team.
  • Partner with HR and global teams to align hiring and performance management with business needs, mitigating risks and delays.
  • Foster a strong, inclusive team culture, ensuring engagement and career growth opportunities for all team members.
  • Ensure seamless integration of ICC resources into global delivery teams and PODs, promoting effective collaboration and role clarity.
    Ensures an up-to-date, impactful training curriculum that meets ICC & GMS/GQ needs, driving skill development.
  • Oversees onboarding and vendor offboarding progress, ensuring adherence to SLA, KPI, and performance expectations for new hires.
  • Defines clear success outcomes for onboarding, vendor offboarding and continuous training, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
  • In the context of GMSGQ facilitate structured onboarding into PODs and global teams, ensuring ICC associates become productive contributors quickly.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • Experience working across time zones and geographies in a global organization; demonstrating sensitivity to and understanding cultural differences
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Management, or Engineering
  • At minimum of 10 years of experience in data, digital, and technology roles; experience in the Manufacturing or Healthcare industry preferred
  • Proven experience setting up shared services and continuous improvement
  • Proven abilities in cost management, financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Experience managing change in complex environments
  • Experience with vendor transition and managing vendor relationships
  • Demonstrate success operating in a matrix organization, while managing across a complex cross-functional global environment
  • Prior experience in developing and driving high-performing technical teams
  • Operate in a fast-paced manner, minimizing disruption to ongoing business operations and maintaining business continuity
  • Comprehensive knowledge of data analysis, project management, and business acumen
  • Solutions-oriented, able to think through challenges both qualitatively & quantitatively and able to provide action-oriented, timely solutions
