Senior Manager Corporate Process Excellence

Key Responsibilities

  • Consulting, empowerment, guidance, and support in the implementation and continuous optimization of all ZEISS E2E processes with the aim of achieving the greatest possible group-wide standardization of, in particular, transactional processes in order to generate synergies and significantly improve process quality
  • Support and enablement of transformation teams (e.g., FIT4) in EMEA and enablement of teams in China and India to ensure that process implementation and optimization conforms to defined global process standards and that implementation is carried out efficiently and with sustainable, measurable success
  • Provision of E2E process training – based on the Process Excellence Training Academy – to enable local teams to carry out process implementation and optimization (“train-the-trainer”)
  • Consulting and support for the continuous analysis of E2E processes to identify inefficiencies/potential for improvement; identifying and proposing measures/solutions for further process optimization (in close coordination with the Process Mining Team as well as the Global Process Owner and Process Family Owner)

Qualification & Requirements

  • Studies in business administration, engineering, business informatics or a related field (master’s degree preferred)
  • Several years of experience in process and project management, either in an advisory role or in line management of a comparable company, ideally in a corporate environment
  • Extensive experience in leading process implementation and optimization projects as well as shared service/GBS transformation projects in similar functions within a comparable company
  • Extensive knowledge of process management, process modeling and process optimization methods (e.g. Lean Management, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify problems and develop solutions
  • Strong project management expertise with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
