Description
To ensure and contribute to the implementation, improvement and support of the business systems / applications and processes (e.g. solutions, interfaces, databases and workflows) within business requirements, policies and procedures in order to provide the firm with state-of-the-art applications that support business objectives and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the business systems team to deliver & administer solutions / database architecture, development and workflows that meets the business requirements.
- Successful and on time delivery of business systems related projects and within budget.
- Business systems, processes, and methods meet market best practices.
- Continuous improvement of business systems / application.
Accountabilities:
- Works independently within broad practices and procedures and managerial direction.
- Contribute to the formulation of the departmental strategy and plans and lead the implementation thereof for the own team, in order to achieve set goals and objectives.
- Support the IT teams in the development, implementation and improvement of new methods, procedures and processes to ensure that all relevant to the firm and legislative policy/procedural requirements are fulfilled.
- Manage and co-ordinate day to day activities of the team by directing work of others, and co-ordinate with various internal departments and third parties, in order to ensure effective and efficient operations within the business systems team.
- Define, manage and monitor all services related to the business systems unit, in line with corporate standards and procedures, act as a single point of contact for management on development, strategy and new projects for business systems and negotiate complex contractual arrangements in order to ensure optimal functioning of the business systems.
- Lead implementation, configuration and monitoring of Oracle Fusion applications, including ERP, HCM, and others, as assigned, to ensure it meets business requirements.
- Oversee and manage projects to lead the development and implementation of modifications to business applications / databases and processes, in order to improve overall IT efficiency and productivity.
- Provide input to the preparation of the annual budget and staffing plan and monitor and control budgets after approval, in order to realise cost effective operations.
- Collaborate and interact with internal departments and stakeholders and external parties to ensure smooth and reliable
- operation of the applications for fulfilling business objectives, processes and investments to support management in making implementation decisions
Qualification & Requirements
Minimum 10 years of relevant progressive professional experience in IT as well as expertise in the specific area, including experience with Oracle Fusion applications.
