Senior Finance Manager*in – RTR

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and management of the global Record to Report (RTR) function
  • Responsibility for the ongoing accounting and consolidation of domestic and foreign subsidiaries
  • Preparation of the consolidated financial statements according to IFRS with management report and notes
  • Preparation of the required individual financial statements according to local GAAP – in particular the parent company according to HGB
  • Trustful cooperation with the auditors
  • Ensuring the consolidated monthly closing within a strict four-day timeframe
  • Responsibility for the transition to a control-based audit framework
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting
  • Leading and mentoring the RTR team and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
  • Close collaboration with the Finance Transformation Team to ensure optimal accounting support through the ERP system
  • Contact person for internal and external stakeholders on RTR accounting topics
  • Responsibility for the correct representation of expansions and mergers of our business activities within the Group

Qualification & Requirements

  • Preferred: Certified Public Accountant or CIMA, ACCA with many years of professional experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in group accounting / RTR management, ideally in global business units with international legal entities.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in team management to inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Resilient attitude and experience in overcoming challenges in systems and processes
  • Ability to solve complex financial challenges with flexibility and strategic vision.
  • Very good knowledge of financial reporting (HGB, IFRS) and compliance
  • German at C2 level with excellent English skills to work effectively in a global environment
  • Ability to deal with uncertainty, changing priorities and competing deadlines
  • Practical experience with ERP systems (e.g. Workday, MSDynamics, NetSuite, SAP).
