Description
Responsible for managing a dedicated team of 50 to 70 professionals, this position is key in supporting multiple legal entities across the strategically important regions of the USA and Canada. This is an exceptional opportunity to drive impactful changes and lead a significant operation within a globally recognized organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and define the strategic direction for the Shared Services Center in North America
- Manage functional and disciplinary lines in a matrix organization, encompassing various heads of departments
- Deliver high-quality, cost-effective support services that align with company objectives
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, adopting best practices and innovative solutions to boost service efficiency
- Oversee the budget for shared services to optimize resource utilization
- Collaborate with global counterparts to ensure consistent policies and procedures
- Lead change management efforts to elevate operational capabilities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in leadership within a cross-functional and multinational matrix organization
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills with the capability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
- Proven change management expertise and experience managing significant organizational projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging with senior stakeholders and forging robust partnerships
- Experience in budget management and operational efficiency enhancement
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
