Description
As a Channel Marketing Director within the Consumer and Community Banking team at JPMorgan Chase, you will lead a diverse team of over 30 marketing-media professionals. Your strategic leadership will be key in sustaining and advancing a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative culture, and delivering impactful paid media campaigns. Additionally, you will own the Media Process and Reporting Automation horizontal function, support team management related responsibilities, and collaborate with other marketing and site leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a 30 member team of talented media practitioners in India
- Provide oversight on the paid media functions in India, including programmatic, paid search and SEO, page tagging, audience management and process and reporting automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and own the roadmap for developing scalable, secure, and reliable automation platforms platform.
- Collaborate with business partners & technology to ensure data is transformed into analytically accessible and valuable data sets that can be used to answer critical business questions.
- Identify opportunity areas to implement automation in existing processes, such as campaign execution and quality assurance, using Python/Java and cutting edge technologies.
- Independently drive automation reporting workstreams, including development of Tableau based operational and financial dashboards. Drive AI implementations in both the marketing operations and overall project/process management to enhance innovation and efficiency.
- Manage HR-related administrative tasks, such as performance reviews, employee development, and conflict resolution. Lead recruitment efforts to support team growth and enhance capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation and excellence. Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Collaborate with other marketing and country leads to ensure cohesive marketing media operations. Ensure compliance with company policies and local labor laws.
- Implement best practices and tools to improve campaign delivery and performance measurement. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
Qualification & Requirements
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within marketing operations, with at least 10+ years of experience, focusing on paid media channel execution and delivery.
- Formal education equivalent to master’s degree in marketing, software engineering/computer applications with 10+ years of applied experience
- At least 5 years of experience in leading team/people managers, with strong communication and people management skills.
- Experienced in working in marketing teams supporting paid channel operations like programmatic advertising, paid search and audience management.
- Proficient in advertising technology platforms and tools including Demand-Side Platforms, Ad Servers, Site Analytics, Tag Management, Ad Verification, Attribution and Measurement
- Highly experienced in handling complex and strategic automation projects
- In depth knowledge or minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in programming languages like Java/Python/ SQL and platforms like Alteryx and Tableau Strong experience in tools like Microsoft excel, word and PowerPoint
- Strong track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture that encourages innovation and excellence.
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing automation solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, with excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ensuring compliance with firmwide policies and controls
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Exposure to implementing AI based projects would be a plus.
- Experienced in delivering executive presentations with strong presentation skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors, and represent the company at industry events and conferences, demonstrating strong cultural awareness
- Experience in leading teams in GCC from India, particularly within a shared services model, and overseeing paid channel marketing campaigns
