Description
The Clean Technology Systems Environmental division is one of four divisions within the Dürr Group. As the global market leader in industrial exhaust air purification technology, it contributes to reducing emissions in many industries. With innovative solutions, it enables the purification of exhaust air from production processes, the disposal of waste gases from reaction processes, and compliance with legal guidelines. Dürr technology thus makes a decisive contribution to the environmentally friendly treatment of exhaust air.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic and operational management of the Shared Service Center for Financial Accounting in the EMEA region and Group Accounting
- Responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in the shared service model as well as for consolidated financial reports worldwide
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards (HGB/IFRS) and coordinating audit processes
- Strategic development of the Shared Service Center and harmonization of accounting and reporting processes
- Project management and implementation of international projects to optimize financial and accounting processes
- Ensuring quality in accounting mass processes and continuous optimization (CIP)
- Use of modern tools to improve consolidation and reporting processes and drive digitalization projects
- Leading and developing a qualified team in the Shared Service Center
Qualification & Requirements
- Successfully completed business studies with a focus on accounting or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position, ideally in an international industrial company
- Sound knowledge in accounting and process optimization
- Willingness to travel occasionally and excellent communication skills in German and English
- Teamwork, motivation and delegation skills as well as goal-oriented and cooperative leadership style
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, coupled with strong implementation skills and a strong focus on quality
