We are seeking an accomplished Service Delivery Head – Finance & Accounts Shared Services with extensive experience in the automotive high-precision components manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance shared services leadership, process transitions, service delivery, SLA management, and financial transformation. This role demands expertise in financial operations, cost management, compliance, and working capital optimization, tailored to manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery & Operational Excellence
- Oversee end-to-end Finance & Accounts (F&A) shared services operations, ensuring high efficiency, compliance, and cost control.
- Establish and manage SLA/KPI frameworks, driving continuous service improvements.
- Optimize key F&A processes such as O2C (Order to Cash), P2P (Procure to Pay), R2R (Record to Report), inventory costing, and capital expense management.
- Ensure robust financial controls, compliance with IFRS/GAAP, and adherence to industry regulations.
- Implement costing models specific to high-precision manufacturing, including activity-based costing and variance analysis.
Transition & Transformation Leadership
- Lead large-scale transitions and process migrations with a focus on minimizing operational disruptions.
- Drive financial transformation initiatives through automation, analytics, and emerging technologies such as AI and RPA.
- Enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Implement best practices in supply chain finance, working capital management, and raw material cost optimization.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Manage multiple internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
- Act as a strategic financial advisor, providing insights on financial process optimization and cost efficiencies.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between finance, operations, procurement, and supply chain teams to enhance financial accuracy and performance.
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance shared services team, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Implement workforce optimization strategies, ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and upskilling in financial and digital competencies.
Industry Expertise & Strategic Initiatives
- Stay updated on financial best practices, regulatory changes, and evolving trends in high-precision automotive manufacturing.
- Align service delivery strategies with cost control measures, CAPEX planning, and vendor financing models.
- Develop and implement financial risk mitigation strategies, ensuring business sustainability and profitability.
Qualification & Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts shared services, focusing on service delivery, financial transitions, and digital transformation.
- Expertise in multi-client service management, SLA governance, and financial automation.
- Strong understanding of cost structures, inventory costing, and financial operations in high-precision automotive component manufacturing.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday) and automation tools for enhanced financial operations.
- Proven ability to manage financial risks, compliance, audits, and strategic cost control initiatives.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical problem-solving skills.
