Key Responsibilities

Purchase of (bio)fuel and HBEs

• Developing and implementing joint purchasing strategies.
• Maintaining relationships with suppliers and traders; acting as the first point of contact.
• Conducting negotiations and contract management to achieve economies of scale.
• Proactively monitoring market developments and regulations.
• Buy/trade EU Allowances (ETS2) at the auction.

Purchasing Planning and Logistics

• Coordinating joint planning and logistics.
• Act as the first point of contact for carriers and our planner.
• Optimizing transport flows and cooperation with the three fuel terminals.

Knowledge Center

• Advising members on Biofuels, ETS2 (Emission Trading System) and product quality.
• Act as a source of information and expertise in the field of sustainability and regulations.
• Representation on behalf of SSC members in various bodies (Renewable Fuels Platform, NOVE, NEa, Ministries, knowledge groups and project groups).

Collaboration and Strategic Development

• Stimulating and facilitating more intensive cooperation between members.
• Supporting members in creating HBE tickets and meeting ETS2 requirements.
• Coordinating the use of the three fuel terminals within the collaboration.

Stakeholder Management

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with the management of the four members.
• Reporting on the progress, achievements and challenges of the SSC.

Process Optimization

• Identify and implement improvements in processes and collaboration.
• Introducing innovative solutions and technologies to achieve the objectives of the SSC.

Qualification & Requirements

Education and Experience

• Completed HBO or WO education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics or a similar field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in purchasing, logistics or Supply Chain Management, preferably within the fuel or energy sector.
• Experience with stakeholder management and collaboration in a complex environment.
• Excellent command of the Dutch language.
