Description
This is a fast-paced role focusing on the top priorities of the CAO/Deputy CFO. We are seeking candidates who enjoy wearing multiple hats and are comfortable working in ambiguity. This role provides an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, gain end-to-end visibility into business operations, and drive high-impact initiatives that shape the company’s growth and performance. Key Responsibilities
- Provide a strategic sounding board to the Chief Accounting Officer/Deputy CFO, driving alignment on business priorities, key initiatives, and operational execution.
- Lead and manage cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives, fostering collaboration across finance and other business functions.
- Identify and drive operational improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and alignment across teams.
- Own and enhance internal communications within the finance leadership team and the broader finance organization, improving frequency, clarity, and effectiveness.
- Ensure that long-term projects and finance initiatives are executed in an efficient, cost-effective, and diligent manner.
- Own key deliverables for Audit and Disclosure Committee meetings, ensuring high-quality reporting and alignment with governance requirements.
Qualification & Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience, with strong accounting background with prior public accounting and private industry experience.
- Software industry revenue recognition experience is a must.
- Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and business acumen.
- Experience leading change management and operational transformation initiatives is a plus.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced global environment.
- Excellent communicator both verbally and written; demonstrates the ability to communicate to broad audiences.
