Chief of Staff to the CAO/Deputy CFO

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a strategic sounding board to the Chief Accounting Officer/Deputy CFO, driving alignment on business priorities, key initiatives, and operational execution.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives, fostering collaboration across finance and other business functions.
  • Identify and drive operational improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and alignment across teams.
  • Own and enhance internal communications within the finance leadership team and the broader finance organization, improving frequency, clarity, and effectiveness.
  • Ensure that long-term projects and finance initiatives are executed in an efficient, cost-effective, and diligent manner.
  • Own key deliverables for Audit and Disclosure Committee meetings, ensuring high-quality reporting and alignment with governance requirements.

Qualification & Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience, with strong accounting background with prior public accounting and private industry experience.
  • Software industry revenue recognition experience is a must.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and business acumen.
  • Experience leading change management and operational transformation initiatives is a plus.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Excellent communicator both verbally and written; demonstrates the ability to communicate to broad audiences.
