Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Head, Program Management Office (PMO) to lead and oversee our company’s portfolio of projects. This role is critical in ensuring the effective execution of programs that align with our business goals, fostering efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in program governance, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration, driving success through best practices and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Program Oversight
- Establish and lead the Program Management Office (PMO), ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Define and implement governance frameworks, methodologies, and best practices for project execution.
- Monitor program progress, addressing risks and challenges proactively.
Project & Portfolio Management
- Oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for project management and execution.
- Guide project managers and teams in executing initiatives effectively.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Serve as the primary liaison between executives, business units, and project teams.
- Facilitate decision-making processes through data-driven insights and reports.
- Ensure transparency and accountability through regular updates and performance tracking.
Risk & Performance Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that may impact program success.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Leverage analytics and reporting tools to track KPIs and measure impact.
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in program/project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in project governance, risk management, and performance tracking.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-impact projects across departments.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in agile methodologies and change management is a plus.
