Description

Senior Manager, Process & Integration, is responsible for operationalizing the strategic vision for Processes & Integrations. This role’s objectives include designing processes and metrics to measure transition success, ensuring seamless implementation through cross-functional collaboration, and aligning processes with stakeholder needs. The lead will also be responsible for project management, rollout of frameworks and tools, training and support, performance tracking, and enhancement of team communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operationalize strategic vision for procurement integrations, ensuring seamless implementation of processes and initiatives with cross-functional and cross-divisional collaboration
  • Design key strategic processes and metrics to measure transition success, regularly reporting outcomes to Executive Steering Committee and other management stakeholders
  • Engage with procurement counterparts at deal target organizations to ensure seamless visioning and execution of processes that align with organization’s internal and external stakeholder needs
  • Oversee project management from initiation to completion, effectively directing internal procurement teams to ensure successful delivery of procurement objectives at each stage of deals lifecycle
  • Spearhead rollout of frameworks, tools, and processes, providing comprehensive training and ongoing support to procurement teams across functional and global areas
  • Continuously track and monitor integration and transition performance indicators of procurement team, delivering progress reports to functional leadership team
  • Maintain excellence in within Procurement Shared Services by regularly assessing and addressing process inefficiencies, recommending best practices for collaboration, and enhancing team communications
  • Build and maintain procurement team’s capabilities to effectively execute integration activities, ensuring team members possess necessary skills and tools to excel in their roles
  • Manage key resources, allocated budget, and agreed-upon timelines necessary to achieve overall procurement integration goals, ensuring deliverable alignment and financial accountability
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and productive working relationships with Executive Management and AbbVie functional leadership to achieve procurement program objectives

Qualification & Requirements

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related degrees; MBA/MS preferred
  • 5-8 years of Procurement experience, including over 3 years in a leadership role; pharmaceutical industry knowledge preferred; 5+ years of Source-to-Pay experience preferred
  • Strong track record of leading and managing agile projects with a heavily matrixed environment
  • Extensive knowledge of M&A activities, and related transition programs
  • Proficient in budget management and operational oversight, ensuring adherence to standards and priorities
  • 2+ years of experience working with Source-to-Pay systems (i.e. Coupa, SAP S/4HANA) and project management tools (i.e. Jira)
  • Innovative problem-solving skills and strategic thinking combined with a solution-oriented mindset, enabling creative approaches that challenge the status quo and clear communication at all organizational levels
  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering transparent, comprehensive reporting, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and organizational accountability
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management abilities, supported by exceptional soft skills and emotional intelligence to facilitate effective communication and robust relationship-building
  • Impactful executive functioning abilities and autonomous work ethic, maintaining efficient performance in challenging situations and building consensus in decision-making
