Description

The Global Mobility Operations Director will play a key role in the transformation of the global mobility function as it moves from a decentralised to a centralised model.

GLOBAL MOBILITY OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Key Responsibilities

  • Global Mobility Process: Design, implement and continuously improve centralised end-to-end mobility processes including relocation, immigration, tax and compensation.
  • Shared Services: Lead the setup of a global shared services team who will be responsible for all aspects of global mobility operations
  • Vendor Management: Oversee vendor management and selection, ensuring that all third-party mobility providers are aligned with WSPs policies and procedures and deliver a consistent, high-quality service to employees
  • Risk and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including immigration, tax, and employment laws and oversee expatriate tax matters, including planning, compliance, reporting and the management of shadow payroll arrangements
  • Data and Analytics: Analyse global mobility data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with HR, finance, legal, and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of global mobility initiatives
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve global mobility programs

Qualification & Requirements

  • Extensive experience within an in-house global mobility team is essential, with a proven track record of designing and implementing mobility processes, and setting up and leading offshore teams
  • Expatriate tax background within a professional services firm preferred, with strong knowledge of expat compensation arrangements
  • Strong knowledge of global mobility policies, processes, and best practices.
  • Leading change and process improvement
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with global mobility software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
