This role is part of Finance Operations with the successful candidate being a valuable contributor to the team. The Manager is responsible for supporting Kenvue’s Finance Operations processes in compliance with company policy and applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Process responsibilities

  • Lead one or more Finance and Accounting Teams
  • Coordinate and manage global or regional operations support required for timely and compliant financial closes in support of external reporting
    • Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope.
    • Deep expertise, fully knowledgeable of the Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas.
    • Understand, adhere, and execute per worldwide policies and procedures. Identify compliance risks and recommend solutions.
    • Ensure strong internal controls are in place, in order to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings
    • Regular focus on Balance Sheet reconciliations to minimize open items
  • Partner with key stakeholders (such as Deployment and Transformation leads, service delivery teams, and other enabling teams) to help shape and execute Enterprise Business Services Finance initiatives
  • Support talent strategy within Enterprise Business Services Finance
  • Ability to lead and execute on strategic projects, deployments and implementations with key responsibilities including, among others:
    • Manage interdependencies with other initiatives, local and global.
    • Ensure team members have the appropriate skills, supporting tools and technologies to enable them to deliver excellent customer service.
    • Strong team management skills – able to plan, organize, motivate, provide direction for multiple teams or complex tasks; attention to detail, understanding of the Kenvue Finance Op Model.
    • Lead, facilitate and coordinate all deployment activities required
    • Provide valuable inputs to issues and/or business cases which are relevant to Directors and Senior Management regarding complex and sensitive decisions
    • Understanding measures of success and driving work to achieve these
    • Liaise and escalate project issues, ask critical questions, frame issues, and drive results
  • Attract, develop and retain a highly competent, high-performing, motivated and diverse Kenvue Value-based team
  • Develop succession plans for and support career development of the team
  • Ensure effective performance management within the team
  • Liase with senior finance leadership across tax, treasury, business unit finance, internal audit and other Kenvue finance teams
  • Champion & influence strategy & solutions demonstrating strong business acumen
  • Champions and supports continuous improvement mindset throughout the team, identifying and pursuing business & process efficiency opportunities.
  • Passion to lead, champion and support operational change for the greater good of the global organization

Travel

  • Up to 5% international travel

Qualification & Requirements

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s level degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Current/former CPA equivalent qualification, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications preferrable
  • At least 8-10 years of professional experience is required
  • At least 2 years of Management / Supervisory experience is required
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office in particular Excel
  • Learning agility and adaptability to different business requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels
  • Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, other language skills desirable

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO
  • Experience in a Global Accounting for a large multi-state company
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach
  • Successfully manage multiple priorities, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines
  • Digital/ intelligent automation capabilities
  • Candidates may be asked to work shifts to align with global assignments in Americas / EMEA / Asia
  • Lead/Participate in other Regional/Global/Cross functional duties as assigned
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
