Description

We seek a Process Excellence & Transformation Leader to build and institutionalize Lean Six Sigma capability to drive complex, cross-functional programs and projects that address diverse business, operational, financial, legal, and regulatory challenges. This role requires strategic acumen, decisive leadership, and robust stakeholder management, with a strong focus on structured problem solving, business process transformation/reengineering, automation, change management and innovation. Leading a team of Lean Six Sigma experts and black belts , the leader will play a pivotal role in developing a culture of Process Excellence and Innovation, by strategizing, driving change and developing culture of ‘end to end’ process transformation. Collaboration with operating leaders, key market and functional stakeholders will be essential to ensure smooth and successful adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies, securing long-term organizational success.

Process Excellence & Transformation Lead

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of high impact Lean Six Sigma program, mindset and culture to drive business transformation.
  • Lead Automation and Reporting Team to drive AI/ML/RPA automations through simplification, standardization and elimination of waste.
  • Drive Business Impact and Productivity Improvement against the ROI targets.
  • Support Business Process Quality Management System Deployment for continuous capability enhancement.
  • Develop, build and execute change management capability and strategies to maximize adoption and minimize resistance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Team and Program Management

  • Lead the team of Lean Six Sigma Black Belts and Green Belts to drive transformation projects and initiatives for the organization with accountability for delivering on the business case and project goals and objectives. Lead and execute E2E project milestones and deliverables, ensuring alignment with objectives, schedules, cost and quality of deliverables.
  • Drive Lean Six Sigma program. Optimize resource allocation, assigning the right talent to the right projects. Manage optimum team utilization and capacity.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand process performance improvements, transformation and automation needs, build & execute strategic/tactical plan, address concerns, and communicate change initiatives and progress.
  • Act as the primary liaison with technology team and external partners, ensuring effective collaboration.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Set performance standards, track & monitor program outcomes, calibrate on business impact and recommend adjustments to maintain alignment with business goals.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and deliver reports tracking program success.

Training and Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and deploy training programs and conduct/support trainings to deploy capability.
  • Apply industry best practices to drive digital transformation and resolve business adoption/adaptation challenges.

Customer-Centric Focus

  • Lead with a focus on customer (external & internal) needs and business outcomes, driving value from project inception to completion.

Top Accountabilities

  • Strategic Leadership/ Stakeholder Management: Build and sustain key relationships with Operating, GPOs, Technology leaders, Market heads, and external partners to ensure alignment with organizational goals and promote effective communication.
  • Program Leadership: Lead the Lean Six Sigma Capability build and deployment, ensuring program aligns with strategic objectives while meeting timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Business Impact and Productivity Targets: Drive the creation and approval of comprehensive business cases, securing necessary investments and executive support, buy-in and signoffs from Operating/Market/Technology/Finance/Function leaders.
  • Delivering Lean Six Sigma and other trainings. Conducting Lean Value Stream and other CI workshops.
  • Scope and Value Realization: Define, identify and manage the strategic scope of initiatives with stakeholders, ensuring business value is clearly defined, tracked, and delivered.
  • Milestone Management: Oversee the establishment and tracking of key project milestones and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Automation & Innovation: Drive thought leadership and culture of continuous improvement through an understanding of new and emerging capabilities / technologies. Build a strong Automation & Reporting CoE with Design Thinking, RPA, ML/AI, Digital and Lean thinking and deliver automation and efficiency targets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop high-performing teams, providing strategic direction and fostering talent development to achieve program goals.
  • Change Management: Steer complex change initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and successful program outcomes.
  • Governance: Establish and manage governance frameworks to support strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Risk Management: Proactively manage strategic risks, ensuring timely resolution and effective escalation.
  • Executive Reporting: Provide strategic insights and transparent communication on program progress to executives, stakeholders, and governance bodies.
  • Consultative Leadership: Apply critical thinking and a consultative approach to address complex challenges and drive strategic solutions.
  • Executive Coaching: Serve as a trusted advisor/trainer to senior leaders/operating teams, guiding them on the capability build.
  • Transformation Leadership: Provide strategic guidance to management teams, ensuring that transformation projects are effectively managed and aligned with GBO’s goals.

Qualification & Requirements

Technical Competencies:

  • Methodological Expertise: Proficient in various Continuous Improvement Frameworks and Methodologies like BPQMS,TQM, ISO,SPC/SQC, Lean, Six Sigma, Design Thinking, Digital Transformation; RPA; Analytics.
  • Program/Project Planning and Execution: Extensive experience in managing large and complex change and transformation programs/projects.
  • Global Change Delivery: Excellent understanding of the global change delivery and program lifecycle.
  • Tools/Technologies: Exposure to SAP S4 Hana, Workday, Sales Force, Coupa, New Gen and other tech platforms is desirable. Strong hands-on expertise on Minitab, MS Project, ARIS, Celonis, MS Visio, and fluent in MS Office.
  • Domain & Industry Knowledge: Domain & Knowledge of CPG / Manufacturing / Banking / Outsourcing industry preferred.
  • Exposure to finance processes such as O2C (Order to Cash), S2P (Source to Pay), and R2R (Record to Report); FP&A is critical. Additional experience in HR Domain and processes is desirable.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Human Resources, or related fields.
  • 17+ years of experience in organizational roles with a focus on Lean Six Sigma Deployment, Transformation and Automation, Project and Change Management including 10 years of leadership and team management experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certification (Min. Black Belt Certification)
  • Professional Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE II) preferred.
  • Certification in Design Thinking, Change Management (e.g., PROSCI) is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of the CPG/Outsourcing/Manufacturing industry is preferred.
