Description

Randstad is seeking an experienced Controller to lead and manage a team of 6-8 accounting professionals, overseeing month-end close activities. This includes reviewing and approving accounting transactions, account reconciliations, journal entries, compliance, and financial statement preparation for multiple entities. The ideal candidate is a strategic and detail-oriented financial leader with a proven track record of mentoring teams, driving efficiency, and ensuring accuracy while maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and discrepancies are promptly resolved.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and other adjustments to ensure the integrity of the general ledger.
  • Track and manage prepaid expenses, applying appropriate amortization schedules across reporting periods.
  • Conduct monthly variance analysis and partner with department leaders to investigate and address deviations.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports; analyze trends to support business decision-making.
  • Assist with annual audits by compiling required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Assist with fixed asset accounting, including depreciation, additions, and disposals, in alignment with applicable accounting standards.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience is required.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy.
