As the Senior Finance Leader for the USA, you will report directly into the Group CFO, and have a dotted line into the USA Managing Director.

US Finance Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Lead FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis.
  • Manage audits, ensuring compliance and seamless interaction with external auditors.
  • Partner with leadership to support strategic planning and development.
  • Drive process optimization and efficiency within the finance function.
  • Oversee shared services, including payroll, accounts payable, and receivables.
  • Provide guidance on capital expenditure projects and monitor financial performance across active projects.
  • Optimize cash flow and working capital strategies.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the finance team.
  • Take an active role in commercial support, collaborating across departments to ensure alignment on financial strategy and execution.

Qualification & Requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • Recognized accountancy qualification (e.g., CPA).
  • Proven experience with US GAAP and financial leadership in the USA.
  • Expertise in project-based or contract accounting.
  • Exceptional analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Experience with payroll, accounts payable, and receivables.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools (SAGE experience is a plus).
  • Leadership experience with a focus on motivating and driving change in teams.
  • Strong interest in a hands-on finance role, spanning accounting, controls, and commercial functions.
