We are seeking an experienced and driven Shared Services Accounting Manager to lead our Accounts Receivable department. This role requires a strong leader who can manage and develop a team, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with GAAP standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in accounting and leadership, combined with a passion for fostering a positive and efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable department.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the shared services function.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of management or supervisory experience in an accounting or financial role.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and its application in financial reporting.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
