Description

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and evaluating similar processes across the processes to identify opportunities for streamlining and simplifying programs;
- Act as a liaison between implementation contractor and program staff to address any questions or issues that arise;
- Review & analyze monthly reports to identify performance trends, flag anomalies, report accuracy and timeliness, and driving continuous improvement in the Shared Services engagement;
- Process Task Work Orders (TWO) — NEIS entry of TWOs, processing of TWOs, and shepherding the TWOs through the process;
- Budget management and oversight ensuring estimated and actual budgets are reconciled timely;
- Attend meetings with support contractor; and
- Other duties as identified that contribute toward the key outcomes of the Central Business Services team.

- Develops/formulates Deployment issues, problems and needs in at least one technical area. Has acknowledged expertise at conceptual level of technical skills and knowledge in at least one program area.
- Has basic understanding of State energy/environmental economic development issues.
Creativity in Project & Program Development
- Has developed and managed projects with little specific direction.
- Develops new projects and co-funding sources with own initiative.
- Carried out development of several projects through competitive solicitation phase that may or may not result from own initiative.
- Has provided ideas and rationale for program development in at least one technical area

- Has demonstrated ability to implement projects in a timely manner.

Are there any specialized skills that must be present for the position to be successful?
- Strong analytical skills for tracking metrics, reporting trend data and making data informed decisions Familiar with LEAN methodologies – preferred
- Experience in managing third party vendors, service providers and/or contracts
- Familiarity with Project Management Systems – preferred
- Experience in identifying inefficiencies and implementing automaton or standardizing process
Are there any skills or tasks that the resource needs at start of engagement?
- Technical knowledge of energy systems and ability to perform and review energy analysis calculations is required.
