Description

As a Manager of Finance, Controls & Shared Service, he/she will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effectiveness of Internal Controls, financial health of our business and efficient processing of financial transactions in Shared Services. This position requires deep understanding of Fundamentals & Technical side of Finance, risks & controls, and exceptional collaborative spirit with outstanding communication skills. He/she will be part of a team dedicated to maintain strong set of controls & risk management, accurate recording, efficient use of resource in optimizing transactional processing.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Controls

  • Oversee the accounting, ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions in compliance with GAAP.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
  • Implement robust processes to promote operational efficiencies in Shared Services and compliance.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate all financial & operational risks.
  • Coordinate and manage external audits, preparing necessary documentation and addressing any findings or recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and corporate governance policies.

Financial Analysis & Cost Optimization

  • Lead month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial recording/reporting and in depth variance analysis in an ERP environment.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying cost variances/trends, risks, and opportunities to enhance profitability.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of cost control measures, driving efficiencies in finance operation and supply chain processes.

Performance Metrics & Reporting

  • Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) for financial performance and operational efficiency; report on performance against these metrics regularly.
  • Develop comprehensive financial dashboards, BI reports for executive management, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Team Development & Leadership

  • Be a senior team player in a high-performing team, providing mentorship and development opportunities to foster young talents.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the finance team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Operations, Supply chain, HR and IT departments to streamline financial processes and enhance overall business performance.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to influence decisions through financial insights and recommendations.

Statutory Compliance

  • Oversee tax compliance, facilitate Information submission and lead ensuring timely and accurate filing of all tax returns & statutory compliances.
  • Work with external auditors and other stake holders in ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Member of ICASL, ACCA(UK), CIMA(UK) and Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; having a MBA will be preferred.
  • Prior senior level experience in a Big 4 Audit firms and in a reputed BPO will be definite advantages.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, with a significant portion in a large company setting.
  • Prior experience in Multi-National Companies will be preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge with Control mindset with proficiency in financial modeling.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Strong influential skills are a prerequisite.
  • Advanced proficiency in large ERP systems and strong Excel skills required.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with experience in developing finance teams.
