Description

Randstad’s Global Capability Center is seeking an experienced Business Operations Leader with over 15 years of proven expertise in the industry. The ideal candidate will lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for driving operational efficiency, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring seamless transition and transformation activities as we scale. This is a critical leadership position that will shape the future of our operations and drive the success of the GCC

This role encompasses the transformation of all CCs (competency centers) within the GCC, driving operational excellence across diverse functions including IT, finance, HR and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders to shape the business strategy
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience and contribute to strategic financial planning for the Global Capability Center.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization, implementing innovative solutions, and driving measurable results.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for operational excellence, aligning with business goals and objectives, ensuring effective resource allocation, and measuring key performance indicators
  • Provide insights from operational data to inform strategic decisions. This includes identifying market trends, customer needs, and potential areas for growth.
  • Develop and manage budgets, monitor operational costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and contribute to strategic financial planning for the Global Capability Center.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful implementation of transitions and transformations within the global capability center, including process reengineering and technology adoption.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of LEAN principles across all operational processes, identifying and eliminating waste, streamlining workflows, and enhancing efficiency.
  • Drive automation initiatives across operational processes, identifying opportunities to leverage technology and automation to enhance efficiency, reduce manual tasks, and improve accuracy.
  • Build, develop, and manage a high-performing team of operational professionals, providing clear direction, coaching, and mentoring to foster growth and success.
  • Effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, technology teams, and senior leadership, ensuring alignment and seamless execution of initiatives.
  • *Develop value propositions for operational processes that contribute to customer satisfaction and business growth.

Qualification & Requirements

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in business operations, process improvement, and/or operational management roles, preferably within a global capability center or shared services environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing LEAN methodologies and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience leading and managing teams in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and technologies is a plus.
