Description

As the Vice President of Shared Services Operations, you will be responsible for leading and managing the overall operations of the Shared Services department. This role requires strategic thinking, financial management, and stakeholder management skills to ensure the department’s objectives align with the company’s goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. This includes creating a strategic digital innovation and roadmap to guide the department’s future growth.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the department’s budget, ensuring financial resources are utilized effectively. This includes developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures to mitigate financial risks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external. This includes managing accounts and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Corporate Governance: Ensure the department’s operations comply with corporate governance policies and regulations. This includes implementing operational planning strategies to enhance compliance.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage the team effectively to ensure they meet their individual and collective goals. This includes fostering a culture of people excellence and entrepreneurship.
  • Business Acumen: Apply business and commercial acumen to make informed decisions that benefit the department and the company as a whole. This includes demonstrating a global mindset in all operations.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and other departments. This includes demonstrating strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Operational Excellence: Strive for operational excellence in all aspects of the department’s operations. This includes continuously seeking ways to improve processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
