Description
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this key leadership role will see you managing three direct reports and overseeing an offshore Accounts Payable & Receivable processing team. You will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency and financial best practices across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Oversight – Manage Accounts Payable, Receivable, and Payroll, providing strategic guidance to team managers.
- Working Capital & Cash Flow Management – Optimize cash flow to meet short-term obligations while supporting long-term business goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with the FP&A Manager and Senior Finance Manager to ensure a seamless finance function.
- Service Excellence – Manage relationships with shared services customers and external service providers.
- Strategic & Operational Support – Provide senior accounting support and ensure the Shared Services Group is well-resourced.
- Process Improvement – Drive continuous efficiency improvements with a focus on cost reduction.
- Ad-Hoc Reporting & Analysis – Deliver insights and financial reports as required.
- Business Support Initiatives – Assist in strategic projects directed by the executive leadership team.
Qualification & Requirements
Your Profile You are a dynamic finance professional with expertise in shared services and a passion for leadership. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are skilled at balancing multiple priorities while driving strategic outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
- CPA/CA qualification (highly regarded).
- Proven experience leading a payroll function within a shared services environment.
- Deep understanding of working capital and cash flow management (must have)
- Strong accounting acumen with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of coaching and developing teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
