Head of HR Shared Services

Key Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the operational management and further development of a department of over 20 employees and directly manage three team leaders.
  • You are responsible for the operational implementation of the employee journey from onboarding to offboarding and maintain close cooperation with other decision-makers across the entire company
  • You are responsible for onboarding, internal transfers and offboarding, managing absences, managing variable compensation elements and coordinating benefits and company pension schemes.
  • You define and monitor HR metrics and goals.
  • They further develop the range of services and ensure continuous improvement of standards, particularly with regard to the user experience.
  • You will ensure that operational and administrative activities within the department run smoothly and effectively.
  • You are responsible for the continuous development of methodological and procedural standards and services as well as for digitalization in the department.
  • You will lead further projects in the area of ​​HR Shared Services.

Qualification & Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a degree (university/technical college/cooperative state university) in economics with a focus on human resources or IT or a comparable qualification.
  • You have solid management experience in HR shared services within a dynamic company.
  • You are characterized by comprehensive knowledge of HR systems, especially HCM systems (ideally SAP SuccessFactors or Workday) and shine through your digital competence.
  • You have practical experience in project and process management as well as in the digitalization of HR processes in a global context.
  • You have fluent written and spoken German and English skills as well as a high level of analytical skills.
  • You score points through your high level of judgement as well as solution-oriented and constructive communication.
