Description
The Global Implementation Director is responsible for driving global implementation to successful launch with the support of the Service Delivery team. The role involves managing a team of implementation specialists, ensuring timely delivery of projects, and maintaining strong relationships with clients . The Global Implementation Director is also responsible for ensuring executive oversight, financial performance, change impact and prioritization across the program . They identify business gaps and suitable technology to help with objectives, create a successful program environment, and lead the day-to-day management and governance of a program . This role has a tremendous impact on the growth of the business and provides tremendous exposure to key executives in the logistics and supply chain industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex implementation projects for multinational companies and businesses, managing from kickoff to launch while ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.
- Overcome project blockers with strong problem-solving and influencing skills, working in both business and technical contexts, and building trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Use governance expertise to manage scope, timelines, and accountability, while identifying risks, solving challenges, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Manage delivery risks for deals—including project, financial, compliance, and reputational—ensuring robust mitigation plans are in place.
- Build and nurture excellent relationships with internal and external partners
- Confidently explain supply chain technology solutions and lead process improvements to enhance project scalability and efficiency
- Work cross-functionally with Customer Success and Solutions team to develop and maintain internal/external KPI’s
- Act as liaison to greater PSA organization relative to IT/Digital Factory
- Support Head of Service Delivery in development of skill sets within implementation team
- Travel to EMEA/APAC for customer workshops, sales opportunities, internal summits
- Other functions as assigned
Qualification & Requirements
- 10+ years of project management experience in supply chain/logistics
- Proven track record managing complex high pressure, multi-phase projects using project management methodologies. Skilled in creating and managing high-quality project plans, breaking down tasks, mapping dependencies, and identifying the critical path to launch
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks to achieve objectives
- Ability to work in a high pressure time critical environment to achieve objectives through hands on leadership and engagement
- Ability to perform in a multicultural matrix environment
- Best in class customer communication and interaction skills built on sound business knowledge and ability to understand customer needs, engage with the customer and position BNS and its solutions to support the customer
- Strong executive presence with a focused mindset, able to lead, coach and guide.
