Description
NCR Voyix is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Collections Senior Manager to join our Financial Operations Shared Services team in Atlanta. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the collections and cash applications processes, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding receivables, ensuring accurate and timely posting of customer payments, and maintaining strong relationships with our global customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and a solid understanding of collections and cash application processes within a global framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Collections Management: Oversee the collections process to ensure timely and effective recovery of outstanding receivables.
- Cash Application Management: Oversee the cash application process to ensure accurate and timely posting of customer payments.
- Reconciliation: oversee reconciliation of cash receipts to customer accounts, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with global customers to resolve payment issues and disputes professionally and efficiently.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance collections processes.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on performance and present findings to management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as finance, sales, and customer service, to resolve issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in collections or accounts receivable management and cash application
- Prior experience working within a global or multinational company
- Proficiency in collections software and ERP systems
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
