Are you an experienced AR professional with experience working in a shared services environment? If so, then we are working on an AR Operations Manager role that you would be a great fit for.

AR Shared Services Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

In this newly created role (due to company growth), the AR Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the outsourced AR function, working with BPO and SSC providers, and monitoring KPIs and process performance. To be successful in this role, the AR Operations Manager will need to be hands-on, strategic, and be able optimize processes.

  •  Oversee daily AR activities handled by outsourced providers, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Continuously evaluate and improve AR processes to increase efficiency, reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and enhance cash flow management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party AR service providers, conducting regular performance reviews and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements while mitigating credit risks.
  • Develop and present AR performance reports, providing insights into aging trends, collections efficiency, and bad debt provisions.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders such as finance, sales, and customer service teams to resolve disputes and enhance customer billing experiences.
  • Leverage ERP systems and automation tools to enhance AR processes, improve accuracy, and reduce manual efforts.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal finance teams, ensuring best practices in AR management are implemented and followed.

Qualification & Requirements

  • 10+ years of AR and accounting experience
  • Must have experience working in a shared services environment or managing outsourced AR
  • Supervisory experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
