Description

The Human Resource Operations Head execute HR operations focusing on HR Business Partnering, Labor Relations, Employee Shared Services and Administration. The department will cover the implementation of the talent acquisition, organizational development, talent management, learning & development and employee engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Work Setup and Schedule

  • 100% Onsite, Mondays to Fridays 8:00 AM to 6:40 PM

HR Business Partnering

  • Responsible with the HR process implementation from onboarding to offboarding of the employees.
  • Manage and monitor the HR Business Partner service delivery to their respective business unit.
  • Ensure that service provided is compliant within the policy & procedure and labor code.
  • Handle level 3 escalations or issues of the business unit to derive a resolution.
  • Build a strategic working relationship with the business unit in promoting strong partnership.
  • Provide executive guidance to the division head in managing people to reach organizational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with People Strategy Team in developing people-oriented programs as a support to the talent management.
  • Ensure facilitation and execution of Labor Relations strategies, guidelines and initiatives in ensuring industrial peace and sustainable organization.
  • Facilitate mediation and finalize the decision.
  • Responsible in reviewing incident reports and issuance of NTE.
  • Provide reminder & guidance of the Company Policy & Procedure on a regular basis.
  • Partners with Corporate Legal in handling administrative cases and providing guidance to ensure due process is being observed to avoid / manage future legal litigation in coordination.
  • Review and evaluate the exit clearance of the separated employees, and ensure proper endorsement to the Total Rewards Department for final pay computation.

Employee Shared Services

  • Handles the compensation and benefits, employee records, policies & procedures and HRIS/HR Data Analytics effectively within the business unit.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Initiate discussion between Total Rewards Department and Key Leaders in standardizing the Rewards & Recognition program for the employees.
  • Review compensation of new hires, potential and critical talents for salary adjustment, upgrading and promotion.
  • Ensure accuracy of the payroll details and pay schedule release.
  • Conduct review and calibration with the Functional Heads on the Performance Evaluation and Performance Bonus Plan per Department.
  • Ensure smooth and effective implementation of Benefits Administration.

Employee Records, HRIS & Data Analytics

  • Ensure all 201 files is organize & compliant with the data privacy act both hard and soft copies.
  • Develop and implement the employee record purging policy.
  • Supervise the accuracy of the employee records from demographics and statuses.
  • Owner of the HRIS System, People Strong, in maximizing the function & usability.
  • Review and maintain an updated HR Dashboard in any given time.

Administration

  • Review and approved any requests and admin transactions related to service shuttle, facilities, assets, vendor management, office maintenance, payments, and flights & hotels.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the organization and its employees, facilities and assets.
  • Lead the planning of the acquisition, operation, maintenance, renewal, and disposal of organizational assets.

Leadership and Budget Management

  • Responsible in ensuring team unity & growth.
  • Develop a strategic plan upskilling team members and business continuity.
  • Handle team objective discipline.
  • Prepare realistic and reasonable budget for the department and ensure that operation is within the target cost.
  • Drive team working towards one purpose and goal.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management or any other relevant field
  • Advantage if there is any relevant HR Certifications.
  • Must have at least 8 years’ experience in Human Resources, with prior experience in a Human Resource Business Partner, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Engagement, Talent Acquisition and Training.
  • Must have experience facilitating Collective Bargaining Agreement or work in a unionized industry
  • Preference with experience in an FMCG or Shipping industry
  • Must have excellent Account Management skills, supported by excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and agile working environment
  • Possess skills in critical thinking, people management and leadership
