Description

The successful candidate will have experience in project management and associated project documentation, together with an ability to identify and facilitate workshops that deep dive into requirements. This requires strong documentation, communication and coordination skills to bring viable proposals and efficiencies into effect. The work will be central to the delivery of the Roadmap which aggregates individual projects into a coherent work schedule.

Aurion Systems – Project Coordinator, Executive Level 1, Chief Finance Officer

Key Responsibilities

At the EL1 level and in line with the:

  • Provide expertise across the development of project artifacts and management of projects through to implementation.
  • Recommend strategic directions for efficiencies and repeatable project activities and consider wider Hub implications when making decisions.
  • Provide a significant contribution to innovation and business improvement strategies.
  • Take responsibility for the achievements of own and team outcomes, monitor progress and follow through to deliver quality outcomes.
  • Implement change and manage ambiguity in the workplace.
  • Stakeholder engagement with internal clients, other client agencies and vendors.

Qualification & Requirements

To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will be:

  • appropriately skilled, with relevant experience in managing and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  • a strong communicator who can explain complex information to business users, including by analysing business requirements and translating these to achieve outcomes.
  • strong experience is reporting to management and driving agreed projects to a successful conclusion.

Eligibility

  • To be eligible for employment in the APS and the department, candidates must be Australian Citizens.
  • Positions require a Baseline security clearance and successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
