Key activities the R2R/P2P Track Project Lead will directly lead and/or support include designing and validating financial reporting and planning workflows, managing system testing for compliance and operational readiness, and monitoring performance metrics such as reporting timeliness, planning accuracy, and cost efficiency. This role ensures that workflows align with LYBOM’s broader vision for a streamlined and scalable operating model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the tactical execution of R2R/P2P workflows:
  • Collaborate and validate workflows for reporting accuracy, planning readiness, and process efficiency.
  • Ensure R2R and P2P workflows are operationally aligned with LYBOM’s objectives for process simplification and compliance.
  • Support the resolution of cross-functional workflow dependencies and address process gaps during implementation.
  • Managing system testing and deployment readiness:
  • Lead system testing efforts to validate R2R/P2P workflows for operational readiness and compliance with global financial standards
  • Address workflow and system challenges to ensure deployment readiness and smooth integration across global business units
  • Work closely with the program office to track progress against transformation milestones and ensure timely delivery
  • Monitoring and optimizing workflow performance:
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure workflows deliver measurable value
  • Use performance data to identify bottlenecks and refine workflows to support LYBOM’s operational excellence goals
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives for financial planning and reporting processes
  • Ensuring alignment with LYBOM’s transformation goals:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for tactical execution within the R2R/P2P value stream, ensuring workflows directly support LYBOM’s vision for an optimized operating model
  • Collaborate with the Track Advisor and cross-functional teams to ensure operational alignment with the broader transformation program
  • Support change management efforts to drive adoption of standardized processes and ensure operational readiness for global deployment

Qualification & Requirements

Qualifications

  • Typically, 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or procurement operations, with expertise in financial reporting, general accounting, procurement processes, and demonstrated experience leading a team
  • Understanding of LYB’s processes for financial reporting, general accounting, financial planning, budgeting, and performance management preferred
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale process transformation programs
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on program execution
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, engineering or a related field
