Description

A large entertainment company is seeking an Interim R2R Senior Manager to manage monthly accounting activities to ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and plays a critical role in implementing process improvements, integrating new systems and businesses, and supporting global transformation.

Senior Manager Global Finance Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Record-to-Report (R2R) functions, including general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and asset accounting.
  • Manage onshore and offshore teams, ensuring compliance with GAAP, SOX, and corporate policies.
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of monthly close activities and provide analysis for business decisions.
  • Collaborate with business units and act as a primary point of contact for finance-related inquiries.
  • Work on process improvements, global finance transformation, and system implementations.
  • Research US GAAP compliance and provide guidance on significant accounting matters.
  • Manage SOX compliance and support audits.
  • Drive efficiency through the shared service model and work with Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partners.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of accounting experience, including public or private accounting.
  • 2+ years of management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, month-end close, intercompany settlements, and financial analysis.
  • Experience in outsourced or global shared services environments.
  • Experience with SAP S4/HANA, SAP ECC FI, or similar ERP systems.
  • International experience required (foreign currencies, FX, intercompany settlements).
  • Entertainment industry experience preferred.
