Description
Morgan Philips Executive is partnered with a Fortune 500 firm in hiring a Head of GBS Transformation. This is a newly created position, based in KL.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision & Leadership: Develop and champion the vision and strategy for Finance Shared Services transformation, aligned with overall business objectives. Provide leadership and direction to the transformation team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Process Optimization & Standardization: Lead the identification, analysis, and redesign of core finance processes (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance Supply Chain) to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce cycle times, and improve accuracy. Establish standardized processes and best practices across all Shared Services locations.
- Automation & Technology Enablement: Evaluate and implement automation opportunities (e.g., RPA, AI, machine learning) to streamline finance processes and reduce manual effort. Oversee the selection and implementation of relevant technology solutions to support process optimization initiatives.
- Change Management: Lead change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, provide training, and address any resistance to change.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including Finance leadership, business unit leaders, IT, and external vendors. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that Shared Services delivers value.
- Project Management: Oversee the execution of multiple transformation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Utilize project management methodologies and tools to track progress and manage risks.
Qualification & Requirements
- Senior position within GBS/ BPO/ Shared Services leading key transformation projects
- Experience managing senior stakeholders across the globe/ APAC
- Service Delivery capability with experience managing a BPO
- Consultancy/ Big 4 experience is a plus
