Regional Controller

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor various levels within a shared services center to achieve short and long term goals
• Oversee and assist in the preparation of accurate, consistent and timely financial statements
• Analyze and provide management with financial and operational information vital to the decision-making process
• Develop strong relationships with the leadership team and act as a business partner and consultant to management and Corporate Finance
• Establish and enforce corporate accounting methods, policies and principles in accordance with GAAP/SOX
• Develop and oversee execution of policies, procedures and process related to the finance function
• Lead large scale process improvement projects involving multiple business areas including IT, HR and Marketing
• Participate in comprehensive strategic planning for the Financial Services sector of the business
• Achieve operational objectives by partnering with varying levels of management teams and areas of the organization
• Drive implementation of business solutions and financial policies and procedure
• Additional responsibilities as assigned
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
• Strong communication verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to financially explain the impact of an operation situation

Qualification & Requirements

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Graduate or specialty degree
• Must possess analytical skills
• CPA Preferred
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to direct and supervise
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience in a service business

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 8 years experience in public accounting or finance
• 6 years supervisory
• Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
• Must be able to travel based on business needs
