Shared Service AVP (Middle Office – Global Markets)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and mitigate risks across various Shared Services functions.
• Collaborate with teams to document and refine business processes.
• Collect and relay critical requirements and information from stakeholders.
• Deliver presentations and updates to management and larger teams.
• Identify and address inefficiencies, recurring issues, and quality enhancements.
• Advocate for and implement automation and process improvements.
• Maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Qualification & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in a financial institution, ideally in Global Markets or Investment Banking.
• Proven adaptability through experience in different roles across the Middle and Back Office.
• Familiarity with listed derivative processing is advantageous.
• Experience overseeing offshore teams and managing external vendors is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Keen attention to detail and strong analytical abilities to develop and convey solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in technical skills like VBA, Python, and data analysis is a plus.
