Description

The SVP, Finance & Operations is responsible for managing all financial and hands-on operational aspects of the company and assisting the President in the successful growth and development of business.

Guided by the objectives of the company, this role provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure the company has operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, along with systems in place to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.

Perimeter covers the Americas: US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and St Barth`s, inclusive of approx. 1500 employees and over 60 stores.

Role oversees the following departments: FP&A, Accounting, Business Planning, Internal Control and Asset Protection.

Senior Vice President, Finance and Operations (CFO)

Key Responsibilities

  • Advisor & Counselor to Christian Dior Americas President to develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s strategic goals and optimize financial performance in each country of the Americas zone.
  • Key elements of the position will be providing counsel and working with the management teams locally and centrally to reduce costs, enhance revenues and increase cash flow. Provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company.
  • Collaborate with the management teams to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the organization.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Lead the preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions. Lead the annual budget process: retroplanning, coordination throughout the organization and presentation preparation.
  • Oversee the company’s financial risk management, including insurance, investments, and other financial strategies.
  • Focus will be given to systems, logistics, finance, and internal control. Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external.
  • Oversees the Asset protection department to ensure operational excellence and loss prevention in close partnership with Retail Excellence and Operations teams.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role.
  • Seasoned Administrator who possesses a broad-based, developed knowledge of management and strong financial and organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and risk management practices.
  • Consensus builder
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of executives, managers, and employees.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience with financial software and systems.
