Description

The Finance Director of Egg leads and manages the Finance function across the Egg business and is responsible for delivering and executing a strategy which delivers business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the Business Plan in an accelerated growth, innovative, entrepreneurial environment
  • Deliver and execute a strategy which delivers multi service line and region business growth, to become a leading Renewable Energy business by 2030. You will drive commercial decisions to support value creation, supporting all commercial and business development activities
  • You will be proactive in assessing future potential business activities and will partner the leadership team to determine how best to pivot the business when strategic and tactical changes are required
  • Actively and proactively involved in commercial conversations including product pricing, install costs etc.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership credibility influencing key stakeholders understanding of LG’s culture and financial objectives
  • Direct responsibility to align and structure the finance function, organization, processes and tools to ensure proactive, transparent, fact-based control of all financial aspects of the business from accounting, finance, tax, forecasting, cash management, risk management and strategic planning
  • Provide financial leadership and structuring, leveraging the core LG finance capabilities, to deliver and outperform value creation with potential for third party equity investment. You will work within a Shared Services Agreement to implement and then manage the services provided under LG’s federation model.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Solid track record of driving growth within a scale-up, hypergrowth environment
  • Innovate, entrepreneurial with the exceptional commercial sense
  • A broad knowledge of all accounting, financial and strategic valuation principles
  • A business builder, focussed on value creation activities
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively with a small team
  • Very strong business partnering ability with strong Influencing skills at Executive Leadership level
  • Experience in managing out-sourced support relationships and able to get things done by resources you don’t control
  • Solid experience in financial analysis and forecasting with knowledge of best practices in financial management
