Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Shared Services Manager to join their team! Shared Services Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) teams, including setting goals and conducting reviews.
  • Oversee daily AP/AR operations, including vouchering, payments, billing, cash applications, and collections.
  • Manage intercompany balances and collaborate with purchasing and receiving leaders on inventory and depreciation.
  • Conduct AR aging analysis and distribute payables weekly, while ensuring compliance with deadlines and month-end close processes.
  • Review and improve accounting processes to meet compliance standards and optimize efficiency.
  • Collect and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for AP and AR processing.
  • Ensure process, procedures, and work instructions are documented and maintained.
  • Collaborate with the General Ledger team on balance sheet account reconciliations and IFRS compliance.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Participate in special projects and reporting requirements as needed.

Qualification & Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum seven years of experience in accounting, with a focus on managing AP and AR teams.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (experience with SAP and Siteline preferred).
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
  • Manufacturing experience is required.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

  • CPA certification or advanced education.
  • Familiarity with foreign currency and sales tax.
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives within accounting functions.
